WEST JORDAN, UTAH August 6, 2013 BC Technical, the nations leading non-OEM medical imaging solutions provider, has acquired C&G Technologies, the largest independent provider of CT solutions. The addition of C&G Technologies follows 6 previous medical imaging acquisitions and positions BC Technical as the only non-OEM in the country that provides nationwide CT and MR service, parts and refurbished systems for all 4 OEMs, in addition to unmatched capabilities in Nuclear Medicine, PET and PET/CT. C&G Technologies brings proven CT expertise to the BC Technical team and adds a third 50,000 sq ft. facility to support BC Technicals nationwide service organization.
We have over 100 Field Service Engineers across the nation, and continue to grow, comments Mark Alvarez, president and CEO of BC Technical. Our Engineers now have multi-modality tier 2 and tier 3 clinical and technical support, including parts, provided from each of our three 50,000 sq. ft. centers of excellence. We are the only non-OEM that can provide this level of coverage nationwide.
C&G Technologies provides highly experienced service technicians, refurbished GE and Toshiba CT systems, and a complete inventory of fully tested and warranted CT parts. In addition to nationwide, multi-vendor service, C&G Technologies provides technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Former owners, Greg and Joy Kramer, started the company in 1980 and grew it into the industrys top provider of CT solutions.
